Hello again SPAR families! Online registration for our 2021 swim team season is NOW OPEN! Please see our website www.sparswimteam.com to sign up today! The registration button will be on the right hand side of the screen. (Of if you're using your phone, scroll about halfway down the homepage). You will use your same email address as your user id again this year. If you have forgotten your password, you can click "Forgot your password" to reset it. A few reminders:

• Sparrows Point families only: Registration opens today and runs through May 21st. However, please sign up ASAP if you know your plans for the summer. You will not receive any further emails regarding updates and events after April 15th when the email list will be updated for our new season.

• Outside members: Registration opens today and runs through April 15th for you! After midnight on April 15th, we will start offering any unclaimed pool memberships to our waiting list which is now up to 11 families. Once you complete your registration online, make sure to also print the outside membership form attached to this email and also found on our home page. Please return that form and your $225 outside membership fee to Patty Yeary at 8 Avenel Ct. You can mail it to her or text her (864-567-1299) to coordinate dropping it off, but it must be received by April 15th for your registration to be complete.

• Please note: our HOA board voted to not sell any additional outside memberships except to the swim team due to trying to keep the number of people at the pool to a minimum. They also voted that all outside memberships sold to swim team families will end at the end of the swim season in July. I know that most of you have your own neighborhood pools that you use, but I wanted you to know about this change before you sign up.

• All families: If you have a new swimmer this year, we will need a copy of their birth certificate. You can email a picture of it to me at [email protected] or drop it off to me at 2 Ventana Ct. If your swimmers are returning from last year, we have kept a digital copy of their birth certificate.

• We will use the same team suits this year. Start checking now to see if your swimmer will need a new one. You can order the suit at www.augustaswimsupply.com. Go to the upper right hand corner to log in. Our userid is spar and our password is sailfish. Please note that if you choose to embroider our logo on the suit, they are not refundable. All orders received by midnight on April 25th will not be charged shipping and will be held and mailed all at once directly to me. Anything ordered after this date will require you to pay shipping, but the items will be shipped directly to you. As always, if you would rather your swimmer wear a solid black racing suit, that is fine as well.

• It sounds like most SAIL training for positions like timers and officials will be online or via Zoom this year. We will keep you updated as we get more information or you can follow the SAIL site as well: https://sail.swimtopia.com/ Though some positions may look a little different under COVID, we will still need everyone to get trained in something.

• Don't forget about the team sponsorship opportunities I mentioned in my last email. You can get refunds on your registration costs based on the sponsorships you bring in AND we would really appreciate it! All the sponsorships we receive keep our costs as low as possible each season. The sponsorship form can be printed from our team's home page.
